Ceramic and Implant Design was established in 2007 and has developed a strong reputation for high quality dental prosthetics and client service. To deliver superior results to both dentists and patients over time, we take a long term and responsible approach. This means concentrating on the development of first class dental prosthetics, using tried and tested methods while embracing emerging technologies. CID strive to ensure our products help fulfil vital patient needs and improve their living standards. Our values - accountability, respect, teamwork and integrity - are expressed through our business principles, policies and standards. Situated in the CBD of Sydney, the laboratory is owned and managed by Mark Cotter. Mark has over 20 years industry experience as a dental technician, working with some of Sydney’s most skilled technicians. With dedicated and skilled technicians, CID use the latest technologies and techniques, to provide the patient with the best possible result.

All staff attend ongoing continuing education and product training to keep up-to-date with information and developments in their field. CID is a member of a number of professional associations and has been involved with the developments of CAD (computer aided design), with many of the dental companies. Mark has lectured and held courses utilising the benefits of this technology in Australia and is continually asked for his opinion on new technologies before becoming available to the general market, by many implant and dental companies.

As a member of the Oral Health Professionals Association (OHPA), CID is involved with the constant changes in the industry. All dental ceramic and implant products used at CID are made from Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved materials and all work is completed in Australia by registered dental technicians.
